Monthly Planning & Reporting for DMM Success

You may have a one-year or six-month plan in place, but you still need to make plans for the next one month.

Meet With Your Team

Work together with one other person or, even better, a team of people who are active and working with you in DMM. Remind your team of God's vision: “The Lord is not slow to fulfill His promise as some understand slowness, but is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish but everyone to come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9

My Disciples Are Not Obeying

This question was asked by a new DMM practitioner:

My difficulty here for the Discovery Bible Study (DBS) is the commitment to obey. Many will read the verses, explain what they have learned, and make a verbal commitment to obey. But they don’t do it!

My response follows.

Taking Movements to the Next Level

(Some material is adapted from Victor Choudhrie’s “Teaching Card Book.”)

1. Pray!

Persons of Peace Challenges

A new implementer of DMM had this challenge to share:

By grace, I have two new persons of peace this month and we have started group DBS with each of them.
Challenges:
The first person of peace has stopped seeking for persons of peace. And she is only one person who is ‘active in mission work’ but not following Luke 10."
Always when I call either of them for meetings, they complain they don't have time.

This gives us an opportunity to review some of the important principles of persons of peace.

Making Disciples Who Have Vision

This video demonstrates the power of making disciples who understand the vision of multiplying themselves.

Take Courage

The transition from a traditional model of ministry (Strategy A) to a commitment to a Biblical strategy of multiplying disciples (Strategy B) requires a great deal of COURAGE! Why? Because it is like crossing a great river. We see the other side. We know we want to get there. But we look at the river crossing and we naturally experience FEAR. This is why, when God or his angels often show up with revelation, the first words spoken are "Take Courage!"

God's Strategy for Reaching the World

What is God's strategy for reaching every person according to the Bible?

Strategy A is the traditional way we all been taught to reach people using buildings and money.

Strategy A requires:

  • Land
  • Building
  • Seats
  • Pulpit
  • Instruments
  • Everything costs money and takes time

Strategy A is the Come and Sit strategy
